Check out grout pad renewal in action! Over the weekend, the team completed maintenance on the Blue and Yellow lines. This track work is in addition to #CrystalCityProject building a second entrance to the station. Grout pads lift the tracks and keep them secure.

@wmata silver line train overshot my stop to get on at metro center and kept moving. Now I have to wait another 10 minutes for the next train and am late for my conference.

Today’s the 35th anniversary of the Yellow/Green Line between Gallery Place and U St bringing us Mt Vernon Sq, Shaw-Howard U, and U St stations! 🎉 Since May 11, 1991 these stations have moved a total of 128M customers combined.

@wmata Also, I know you have tough jobs but I checked for service delays after 30 minutes and nothing was posted, so on top of being out 45 minutes + $20, I’m also really frustrated.
