Thanks to all who came to the first PTSA meeting last Tuesday. Our news to share with you all is that our APEX fundraiser raised over $2,000 for us to host community events; such as Haunted Hallway on the 26th of October! Next meeting 10/24 @ 4:30pm #WAWMProud #TheWestWayForward

Thank you Mr. Ozzie & Mr. Jeff Nickels, and all our custodial staff from WMIS who work hard behind the scenes to keep our school and building safe and clean! Your work is appreciated today and every day!

6th grade orientation was a huge success on Friday. Our new panthers toured the building, worked on opening their locker, and received their schedule. Congratulations to Marilyn H, who won a new tv in the bingo game!

8th Grade students in Mr. Begos, Mrs. Barry, and Mr. Wardlow's Balanced Literacy Class completed a poetry unit that included writing their own poems. They compiled their works into a book to share with their class. They enjoyed reading each other's poems! Nice work, Panthers!

8th Grade Track meet in Oconomowoc. It was chilly, but they all did their best and most importantly had fun. (Not all pictured) Salo got 2nd place in the 400 M Dash with a time of 1:01:96

Today is the last school day before Spring Break! We hope all of our families have a safe, healthy, and wonderful break! Classes will resume on Monday, March 28th!

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 10th from 4:30-8 pm. It is a drop-in conference-- so no appointment times are needed for this conference. The specialist will be in their room. PE teachers--Mr. Seston will be in 204 & Mrs. O'Brien will be in room 306.

Our volleyball season is well underway! Our Panthers had their first games last week at West! Way to go, Panthers!

Max M is a district finalist for the annual spelling bee! He will compete in the regional bee this month! Good luck and way to go, Max!

There is a PTSA Meeting in the IMC on Thursday, January 20th at 5pm. Hope to see you there!
