#OpGalileo whilst not the usual type of vehicle we associate with hare coursing suspects, this Fiesta was seized in South Shropshire over the weekend. Anyone travelling into the area to engage in this so called sport, prepare to have your belongings taken!

Officers from B shift, Shrewsbury were called to reports of swans and signets in the road. After some persuassion, and help from members of the community, the swans have been guided back to their pond. Please be only feed swans in their own setting. #noluckcatchingthemswansthen

Unusual start to the day in Shropshire. Report of a Fallow deer injured in the grounds of a care home. PC Lightfoot attended and along with staff from the care home and the amazing staff at @CuanWildlife we were able to rescue it and hopefully give it the treatment that's needed.

A 55yr old man has been arrested in Telford for possession of wild birds. During a warrant, officers found six wild birds, including a Goldfinch, Redpoll, Siskins and a Brambling. Many thanks to @RSPCA_official & @CuanWildlife for their assistance #wildlifecrime #ruralwatch

Although the fitted tracker wasn't accurate it certainly assisted us in finding this stolen ATV and returning it to the rightful owner. Please consider fitting trackers to your equipment. It really does work! #Shropshire #ruralcrime

Please note that the tractor was not on the trailer at the time of the theft. The tractor is a John Deere 1026r and the trailer is an Ivor Williams LM166 G3 model.

If you have any information on egg thieves, or those that disturb nesting birds without a licence please contact police. Nesting will be in full swing this month so please contact police if you see any suspicious activity around nesting birds.

The taking of wild bird eggs is a crime but remains an illicit hobby for some determined individuals. Whole clutches can be taken from our rarest birds and stored in collections. New risks to wild birds have also emerged with criminals taking eggs/chicks from birds of prey nests.
