Spen Valley Cup finals action coming up - first up the Y7s who won their first trophy at Whitcliffe Mount, beating Manor Croft 9-4. Goals from Ash B (2), Mason B (3), Finlay B, Oliver M, Connor B & Jardi S. Well in lads! @WMount #WMA

The Y9s were unsuccessful in their Spen Valley Cup final. 4-0 down at HT, an inspired comeback saw the lads claw it back to 4-4. The game looked set for penalties until MFG scored late on to win 5-4. Goals from Brad J (2), Noah B and Oliver T who was also the POTM. @WMount #WMA

And finally… the end of the road for the Y11s who bowed out in style beating HGS 7-1, making it a double this year & 6 trophies in 3 years. Goals from Niall W (2), Arthur B, Alfie S, Harrison G, Sam F & Will R. A fitting end for a fantastic team! @WMount #WMA

Y10 Engineers have been developing their design communication skills ready to start their coursework. They have been practicing isometric drawing, tonal shading and communicating ideas. Their skills are developing nicely.

The Y11 @wms_pe football team reached their 3rd successive Spen valley cup, with a nervy display against @BBGAcademyPE, winning 4-3 on penalties. The team went 2-0 down in the 2nd half but the team did what they do best, showing true character to come back & take the game to pens

Folgarida 2026 update. We are approximately 50 minutes away from Milan Bergamo Airport and are due to depart at 11:05 (Italian time). We have had an amazing time with all students being amazing too. We look forward to seeing you at WMA at 2:15pm today. ✈️

We have safely landed in Manchester and are set to arrive on time, or early at this stage. Please keep the area around school clear so that the coach can pull in and all students and staff, and their luggage can safely exit. See you at 2:00-2:15pm. Thank you!
