We dipped briefly below it, recovered immediately, and are now back at .85. The picture remains intact. What gives this another dimension though: Robinhood is a known investor in Lighter, and if you were watching $HOOD today you saw it was up over 5%. $LIT moved in almost perfect parallel — this is not a random correlation, this is a structural connection backed by direct capital. Going forward I will be treating $LIT as a leveraged play on $HOOD. The relationship is simple: when $HOOD drops, $LIT drops harder — but when $HOOD pumps, $LIT amplifies that move too. $HOOD is the cleaner chart to analyze, and $LIT becomes the higher beta expression of that thesis. When you "swap" into the TAO LP pool, you are actually locking TAO into the protocol-owned AMM/liquidity pool in exchange for subnet alpha tokens at the current exchange rate, and those alpha tokens are then delegated as stake weight to validators who then pass emissions (i.e., yield) back to you. That's why it's called staking.

What a great idea to have tokens for each Tao subnet, it definitely won't dilute the buy pressure going into the main token $TAO

what if $LIT pulls $HYPE in one year. maybe this sounds unreal to you. but yes it is possible. for this, lighter honestly has to work a lot more on product and LighterEVM the first thing they have to do is increase their revenue because without revenue, no matter how good a product you build, if you don’t generate a good amount of revenue for native token holders then it will definitely create problems and also lighter is doing better buybacks than hyperliquid and other protocols like literally they are doing buybacks of 100%+ of fees revenue but here the thing is burning is also important i think lighter will not burn tokens right now because if they do burn at this time then maybe the token pumps for some time but that pump will not stay stable because the market is already in fear and you never know when volatility comes and the best thing they can do with their buyback tokens is if you are a staker on lighter or someone who is trading they can run incentive programs i’m not saying do S3 but yes programs like staking rewards like along with APR they distribute $LIT this will increase the confidence of LIT stakers and also keep tokens out of circulation and in the long term token holders will have more loyalty towards the product and especially if lighter wants to reach hyperliquid honestly lighter as a dex is performing really well but LIT is completely opposite but we cannot judge it right now because 99% tokens are down bad at the moment that’s it Lighter 🕯️
