“Occupation is a violation of international law; the use of force must not replace the rule of law.” Mr. Nabil Fahmy called for a #multilateral approach, #UNGuarantees, and political will. He also recognized China's balanced ties in the region as a platform for mediation efforts.

As #GlobalizationFragments and supply risks rise, speakers emphasized the need to rethink traditional approaches to #EconomicSecurity. Mr. Li Xiangyang highlighted spillover effects of #securitization, calling for a renewed global consensus to balance development with resilience.

“#MiddlePowers are not great powers, but should be key pillars of #InternationalPrinciples.” Amid intensifying #rivalry, they must adopt #independent foreign policies, form #issue-based coalitions, and foster habits of dialogue to support a more inclusive global order.

At the panel on #EuropeanSecurity, Mr. Feng Zhongping remarked that the EU hopes to lead its own security efforts, as relying on others is not a better option. “#RevivingEurope” requires building a new architecture that addresses both #military and #non-military threats.

At the #WPF Lunch Meeting, our esteemed speaker Mr. Li Guoping, Chief Engineer of CNSA, emphasized China’s firm opposition to #SpaceMilitarization and its active contribution to the #BRI, with the #BeiDou system now serving over 140 countries.

The third plenary session examined how the #GlobalSouth can advance peace and prosperity by building on its legacy of #anticolonial struggle and embracing today’s #multipolar world. Amid global disorder, there is an opportunity for enhanced South-South cooperation.

AI is increasingly integrated into armed conflicts, from #space-based sensors to #CognitiveWarfare. Mr. VIGNATI, Mauro noted AI should remain a tool under human control, not an autonomous actor, with risks of misuse in #cyberspace.

At a panel session on #BRICS and global order, Amb. GALVÃO Marcos @BrazilEmbChina emphasized the group’s role in promoting a more sustainable world. From #ClimateAction to #EnergyTransition, BRICS contributes by embracing diversity over rigid formalism. “Change is possible.”

In the session on China-U.S. relations in the Trump 2.0 era, speakers noted that while #tensions persist, both sides are undergoing changes. Despite #distrust, many areas for #cooperation remain. “We must nurture the embers of trust and build from there.”🇨🇳🇺🇸
