@WRMarineSpecies Yes, publication goes on almost continuously year around. Although this one seems to be unpublished, fide ZooBank. Hard to be sure as the ZB reg is probably there, but unreleased publicly, but the editor didn't include it in his WoRMS record, nor upload the pdf.

Interesting. Only looks at species-group names, not genera. Mythology (gods & other fantasy entities) and fictional characters are included in "culture" not in real "people", & are a minor group. Sensibly almost no decapods are named for celebrities. Most names are innocuous.

#wormWednesday Planktologist Vladimir Sveshnikov with a rare colour plate pub by Akademia Nauk SSSR in 1967. Clockwise larvae of a Nerine, Magelona, Spirorbis & Pectinaria from Posjet Bay, S of Vladivostok. Are they natural colours? Well, maybe somewhat enhanced.
