To be very honest, I can't fathom what will become of my young family & I if @PeterObi doesn't win in this election. I've ideas/experience in maize & rice production but no capital to start a farm. I've supervised a farm project of abt 7 hectares but nobody wants to sponsor me.

Together Towards the New Nigeria That Is Possible On this June 12, Democracy Day, I had useful meetings with my partners in the building of the New Nigeria that is Possible: our great party’s National Leader, H.E. Senator Seriake Dickson, and our party’s Vice Presidential candidate, H.E. Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso. The NDC, as a party that is barely four months old, despite the challenges, remains the party of the future, and the fruitful discussions at the meetings clearly underscore this fact. The leaders and members of a committed political family must be willing to make sacrifices and show tolerance and accommodation, even in difficult circumstances. This shared understanding is essential for building trust, strengthening unity, and sustaining the vision we collectively hold for national transformation. We are all committed to this goal. The NDC remains the vehicle that will convey Nigeria through purposeful, compassionate leadership, with firm commitment to productivity and democratic ideals towards the New Nigeria that is POssible. -PO

My fellow Nigerians,   On this Democracy Day, I extend my warm greetings to every Nigerian at home and abroad. Today is more than a celebration of democracy. It is an opportunity for reflection.   It is a day to slow down and take stock of where we are as a nation, where we have come from, and where we are headed. It is a moment to honestly assess the state of our country, the quality of our leadership, the strength of our institutions, and the role each of us is playing in shaping Nigeria's future.   As we reflect, we must also give ourselves grace and gratitude. To every Nigerian who has refused to give up, who continues to work hard, speak up, raise a family, build a business, serve a community, defend the truth, or simply hold on to hope in difficult times: THANK YOU. Your resilience matters. Your sacrifices matter. Your commitment to a better Nigeria matter.   But reflection must lead to intention.   The Nigeria we desire will not emerge by chance. It will be built by citizens who choose, every day, to take responsibility for the future they want to see. Democracy is not a spectator sport. Nation-building is not the responsibility of government alone. It belongs to all of us.   Today, I invite every Nigerian to make a conscious decision. Decide to be more engaged. Decide to be more informed. Decide to hold leaders accountable. Decide to support what is right, even when it is difficult. Decide to contribute, in whatever way you can, to the progress of your community and your country.   The framework (on the principle developed by Chine and Chuba Ezekwesili) is simple: Reflect on where we are. Be grateful for how far we have come. Take responsibility for what must be done. Act intentionally to create the future we desire.   History has shown that no nation transforms because a few people wished for change. Nations transform when ordinary citizens make an extraordinary commitment to a shared future.   Nigeria still holds immense promise. Our challenges are real, but so is our potential. The task before us is great, but it is not greater than the collective determination of Nigerians who refuse to surrender their hope. Let this Democracy Day renew our resolve. Let us slow down and reflect. Let us be grateful. Let us take responsibility. Let us act with intention.   Together, we can birth the Nigeria of our dreams. Nigeria will be #OK. Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria.   Aisha Yesufu For a Better Nigeria 🇳🇬

@Wizarab10 Mourinho tactics right from his days in Chelsea is to hijack players. It is to look for ways to weaken Barca by ensuring that Barca don't get to sign the players.

Nigeria Democratic Congress
NDC Celebrates Democracy Day, Promises Better Days as It Assures Nigerians Everything Will Be OK Today, Nigerians across the country celebrate Democracy Day. However, June 12 is far more than just another date on the calendar. On June 12, 1993, Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, tongue, or religion, spoke with one voice. They chose hope over fear and unity over division. In an election widely regarded as the freest and fairest in our nation’s history, millions queued patiently under the sun and rain to cast their votes for Chief M.K.O. Abiola. That election was tragically annulled by the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida, and the people’s mandate was denied. Yet, the spirit of June 12 refused to die. For years, the ideals of June 12 lived on in the streets, in prison cells, in exile, and in the hearts of ordinary Nigerians who believed our country deserved better. Many paid the ultimate price for this belief. Today, we honour their sacrifice. It is because of their courage and commitment that June 12 is no longer merely a memory, it is now officially our Democracy Day. As we mark this historic day, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) salutes all Nigerians and the heroes of our democracy. We urge every citizen to remember that democracy is not merely about periodic elections; it is fundamentally about the choices we make every day. We must collectively strive to promote accountability in governance, participatory democracy, justice, and inclusivity. The true beauty of June 12 lies in what it revealed: what is POssible when Nigerians stand united. North and South, Christians and Muslims, young and old, all came together in pursuit of a shared vision. That vision remains alive today. As we approach another general election year, the enduring lessons of June 12, that democracy is not inherited but earned every single day, must continue to guide us. The NDC wishes all Nigerians a peaceful and reflective Democracy Day. While we may currently be facing some daunting challenges as a nation, we wish to assure Nigerians that everything will be OK✅ . ✌🏻
