Let me make this CLEAR : You don’t REPLACE Mohamed Salah you survive after him. Players like him aren’t signings, they’re eras. You can scout wingers, spend fortunes, and promise the fans the “next big thing,” but Salah isn’t a role you fill on a team sheet. He’s output, aura, fear in defenders’ minds, certainty in chaos. You don’t buy another Salah. You search for someone who might , might carry half his shadow 🇪🇬👑

@umirf1 People whinge about things for the sake of it. I wouldn't even bother to reply/clarify. Who cares the Q was long? For those who get it and those who are bored of the same basic questions - this was refreshing! Well done bro - smashing it as always. Ma'Shaa'Allah

Just to clarify a few misconceptions and highlight some interesting things I’ve seen re: journalism. My question was admittedly long but journalists typically ask three or four questions which when added up are of an equal-ish time to mine. I deliberately chose to ask one detailed question instead. I mentioned the 2006 columns as I wanted to see if 1) his opinion had changed 20 years on and 2) how he deals with that as a coach now rather than an analyst or writer. His answers provided inference to both even if he didn’t explicitly say so, which is helpful for my work going forward. And lastly, I asked that question as I am working on a piece around those ideas. The quotes feed into the article. The article is the end product. Getting more information from an interviewee is probably the aim when the interview is the end product. Getting new information relevant to the article is the aim when the article is the end product. Everyone entitled to an opinion on someone’s journalist approach. As someone with a big passion for football especially tactically, I’m enjoying trying new things and I’m happy with how it’s gone so far whilst always trying to improve with guidance from the best. Excited to share my piece next week so stay tuned.

Better late than never! Last Friday our Devs travelled to Aylesbury to face BASE. A tight encounter against a title contender and we come out on top 4-3! 2 wins in 2 for AFA Devs and a nice little hatrick from Adkins who is finding his feet as expected! UpTheAFA

@TheAnfieldTalk So open defensively. Midfield not working hard to defend and track back. No stretch to get in behind in possession. Kerkez and Ramsay couldn't pass the ball to anyone's feet with quality. Can't transition with any urgency or pace. Or any intent in the press. Just so shit
