clinton should be obvious bc that would refer to the former president. but otherwise i think people are just referred to by the cooler or easier name. like we call bernie bernie and not sanders, we call pete buttigieg pete/mayor pete and not his last name

@ween1e_hut_jr i know. i have OCD. i was using the words "clean freak" as terms for any layman reading this to understand because there's no singular subtype of the disorder that perfectly lines up with the idea of just needing to be clean all the time

@WSCKR1 there is no "clean freak" OCD, people with OCD who clean are mischaracterized and clean out of irrational fear rather than tidiness, and more often than not only exhibit that behavior about a few things while other aspects of their lives remain very unorganized/dirty. For example

@ween1e_hut_jr i dont have the "clean freak" OCD, but i do have the disorder, and i can tell you that organizing things is kind of personally scary, because any mistake that results from it will be my fault for disturbing the natural unorganized state intentionally

i feel like the way ppl with most types of ocd actually organize is they do it once and then basically never again. Either they start off by organizing so well that they cant possibly fuck it up, or they wait for it to get so irreversibly messy that they spend all day fixing it
