Wrong Timeline

Hello everyone. We have already announced it on our Discord and on the official one, but ExAltered will not be updated anymore. You may find the longer explanation on there. This will allow us to work on bigger, standalone projects with original IPs. Thank you for your support!

@Altered_TCG Extremely sad, and way too soon. At least we're glad to have been part of it, if only for a little while.

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel the Roots of Corruption campaign. This campaign does not only mark the end of a crowdfunding project; unfortunately, it also marks the end of the Altered adventure. 👉altered.gg/en-us/news/a-c…

@TRKqqqq It sure is tempting ! But between ExAltered and our new project it would be impossible to make... unless we quit our jobs or something. Our best bet right now is using existing, non-automated, clients such as Tabletop Simulator (on which it's already playable)

@WTimelineGames I'm no expert in legal matters but i think this wouldn't pose a problem since it's a fangame not based on a real card game. The minuscule playerbase is also true for Exaltered so i hope you can rethink your decision in favor for an automated simulator.

@TRKqqqq Haha, thank you ! I feel like there's not much we could reuse about it since it's so different, so but the idea crossed our mind. It would be a lot of work for a minuscule playerbase, not to mention legal issues !

@WTimelineGames This is really awesome 😍.If you ask me, I would scrap the Exaltered client in favor of this game (considering BGA exists and the player base is dwindling). This is your 'own' card game, so you would have more incentive to work on this than Altered.

@I_came_to_game @StanDusk 1) No, abuse would be way too common and moderation needs a lot of firepower. 2) We're trying to not divulge too much in the stats as we don't want to influence the meta too much, not to mention grouping stats by entire decks would be a bit complex

ExAltered 1.0 is out !! - Added ALL Core Set cards - New Title Screen - New Soundtrack by @StanDusk ! - New default decks for ALL heroes, specifically tailored for beginners ! - Season 1 of Ranked Games begins !

Note : the current version is 1.0.1-HOTFIX2. As the name implies, there are some bugs currently being fixed, at the release introduced a ton of new cards and features. In the coming days, more versions will certainly be released to fix the rest of them. Thanks for your patience !

That's about it for the warnings. All our efforts are focused on making 1.0 and we hope you'll like it. We're also planning a surprise feature for 1.0 that we hope will please longtime fans of ExAltered... 👀

In the days following 1.0, we will most likely release patched versions such as 1.0.1 and so forth to fix all incoming problems. It will take a bit of time for everything to stabilize. If we go on to make Set 2 and beyond, the same process will repeat at every retail release.

Hello everyone ! Long time we haven't posted here, huh ? First of all, we forgot to say that about a week ago, we released ExAltered 0.10.0, the first stable version in 5 months ! It contains a brand new tutorial mode, alongside many enhancements and bugfixes.
