STEM is stronger when more students see themselves in the lab. At WVSU, an HBCU in West Virginia, students from a wide range of backgrounds are gaining hands-on experience and preparing for futures in science and technology.

West Virginia State University Extension’s Mind Marvel Neuroscience Camp brought 7th–10th graders to campus to explore brain anatomy, synaptic networks and how the brain responds to pain, addiction and injury through hands-on labs and activities. 🧠
