I think that after videos like this, a lot of people are going to start seeing AI in a very different way. War cinema is one of my favorite genres, and being able to recreate the Normandy landings in such a vibrant and believable way feels like a dream come true. Just imagine the budget it would take to shoot a 3-minute sequence like this. I won’t even say that Hollywood is cooked. I’ll just say that AI cinema is already a reality, with a truly brilliant future ahead. Thanks to my friends at @Kling_ai for letting me create real cinema 🎬

@history_under @beatmastermatt Also, it is human nature to look for others to blame things on, and I would rather see more punching "upwards" to politicians and billionaires than punching downwards to immigrants and others near the bottom

@beatmastermatt There's probably a fair amount of politicians tricking poor people into thinking that rich people are stealing from them in some way and are responsible for all of their troubles in life. I hate greed but I don't hate rich people who provide jobs and make useful stuff.

Rich people have tricked all the poor people into thinking that other poor people are to blame for all their problems and so that's why rich people should be treated better.

@history_under I genuinely cannot think of any good reason to keep these Medal of Honor awards on the books. I believe they should be rescinded

While I would be opposed to rescinding the Medals of Honor that were awarded for actions at Wounded Knee, I'm a little uncomfortable with any language that glorifies what the soldiers who participated in that action did. Not the best look from the Secretary of War here.

@history_under @beatmastermatt By lobbying for lower taxes and taking advantage of a broken tax code to hide their wealth, they shift the burden of taxation away from them and onto the poor. In that sense, especially with regards to hiding their wealth, they are absolutely stealing from the poor.
