"Don't chase green candles." 100% true in crypto. 90% true in stocks. Here's a possible exception. If you saw a chart like this in 1999, you'd often see P/E ratios of 70:1, 100:1 or oftentimes worse. $MU has trailing P/E ratio of 22:1 and a forward P/E ratio of 8:1. It looks only looks like 1999 because the 2026 dollar is trash in a way that the 1999 dollar wasn't. 2026 is nothing like 1999. And if there's a 90s comparison to where we are right now... I have been saying we were in 1998 for a while, but it's probably more like 1996.

ISM report comes out in 10 minutes. I'm expecting a modest rise over previous months' reports. And for bears to still not put the pieces together that this "bear market" is structurally different from every bear market we have seen in crypto history.

@FairValueGary1 Yeah, I know what you're talking about. I don't mess around with that because of the greeks. I'm talking about shorting stocks the way you would short a crypto.

@WWBitcoin i trade options contracts (calls/puts) 0DTE & so on sometimes if that’s what you mean. That & selling covered calls & cash secured puts but for trades i throughly prefer crypto futures. the greeks & strike prices & everything just add extra 💩 to the trade 🤷‍♂️

Are the any retail investors out there who mess around with shorting stocks? Robinhood gave me the option a couple of months ago. I have dabbled and have had some success. But with anything, I don't want to rush into things. Would love to hear some thoughts.

@WWBitcoin I’ve been using it pretty successfully for a few months now. Shorting stocks that have been bouncing into earnings has been the play recently.

I no longer feel an ounce of FOMO for Intel.
