He was a champion in the ring, and championed the health and well-being of his peers outside of it. Thunderbolt Patterson’s influence is still felt today, and will receive the recognition it deserves when he joins the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024. #WWEHOF

@WWEArchivist Can I venture a guess…This was at a live event in Little Rock, Dec. 1997, Barton Coliseum. The infamous riot that broke out. My mom wouldn’t even let me go to the show because it was in a bad part of the city. But I bet a lot of the wear and stains came from that night.
