By significantly reducing available groundwater, such activity could impair or eliminate large-scale farming and ranching operations. Additionally, any resulting ecological disruptions—such as increased pest populations like ticks—might further limit activities such as hunting. If these effects were to materialize on a broad scale, would they sufficiently constrain traditional food production to push consumer reliance toward alternatives such as bio meat products associated with investors like Bill Gates, or insect-based dairy substitutes?
