The Delord-Sarpy House, build c1815, demolished 1957, located where the WWII Museum air pavilion now stands, immediately adjacent to the Camp Street off-ramp (which was the reason for its demolition).

📸 Then and now: Manila American Cemetery. In 1955, freshly-installed headstones were inspected and cleaned by cemetery workers who removed any potential stains. Today, our cemetery staff still take the greatest care of the more than 16,000 marble headstones.
