@chicagobars @cta When I have friends/family in town, I always have them take the brown line from Armitage. The station attendant is always so helpful to first time riders. It feels like she keeps an eye on things, too. She deserves recognition, for sure.

Today took me from the @cta Armitage brown line station to the @cta Cermak green line station. Two of their (always) cleanest stations where staff interact with riders regularly instead of hunkering down in kiosks. Every neighborhood deserves service like these two deliver.

Exciting Lincoln Park news! This blighted corner will soon be home to 66 new apartments and new ground-floor retail with just 10 parking spaces (and 75 bike spaces). And almost more excitingly, it only took 3 months from public meeting to approval.

@Andrefor40th I stand corrected! Thank you. I mistakenly grouped you in there from the early days and Hadden & Martin because prior to becoming alderpersons they aligned with protests against the Sterling Bay TIF, as did DSA candidates. Regardless, appreciate your post.

@bsmcfadden @matt_weiss_ @BikeIndex @stolenbikeschi Not sure if it still exists (anyone?), but back in the day, Swap-O-Rama in Back or the Yards was a place where stolen bikes were fronted. Thieves would “roll” stolen bikes at the swap or in the parking lot or they were leaned against various tables. Get there ASAP. Don’t delay.
