@IuliaL27 Your country sees people as blue, red, libs, MAGA, etc. there are no individuals in America. Btw…every policy started as a grievance and justice is a vengeance

I'm not interested in South Africa just because it's heartbreaking to watch a nation with so much raw potential get hollowed out, though it is. I'm interested in South Africa because it's a warning of what happens when you replace merit with race, when grievance becomes policy, when forgiveness is skipped and revenge is dressed up as justice, and when you stop seeing individuals and start seeing groups. That's not a South African problem. That's a human one. And the West is not as far from it as it thinks.

@IuliaL27 Let me get this straight…RSA has been doing well until they refused starlink? Do you know how many foreign companies operate in RSA, abide by laws, just like they’d abide by laws of the jurisdiction they operate in?

@IuliaL27 @elonmusk Btw…America First is a government mandate. Government mandates are everywhere, just hated when developing countries do them. Your country imposes tariffs to protect domestic industry and its people so it claims.

Everyone's up in arms over @elonmusk calling B-BBEE 'extremely racist'. He's not wrong. But over 20 years of data tells an even darker story. Unemployment up. Black unemployment even worse. Crime exploding. Rural internet crippled. Starlink blocked because Elon isn't Black enough. This is what happens when you put racial revenge over reality. ANC is starving its own people of safety, jobs, and tech, all to keep power. Full breakdown → nationalinterest.org/blog/techland/…

We completed the investigation at Minab school, so Donald Trump doesn't have to. Triple tap U.S Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired on a busy school day. Many children were still alive after the first strike. As some tried to flee, they were targeted again - this time with teachers and parents too. This can only be described as evil crimes against children and humanity.

@MarkSham @WOOLWORTHS_SA Life, business is unfair. Imagine other suppliers that’ve failed to get in with WW because Beyers have monopoly 🤷🏾 A 34yr monopoly that enabled Beyer to acquire another business…well atleast they can continue to supply Checkers

The @WOOLWORTHS_SA and Beyers Chocolates breakdown is another reminder that corporate companies will "protect their business and their growth" at all costs. Any smaller business that forgets is doomed. You can have a 34-year supplier history with a corporate but the moment you stop playing by their rules, they will cut you down to size, even if that means you liquidating your business! From what has been reported, Beyers had been supplying Woolworths since around 1990 and at one point Woolworths made up roughly half their business. That kind of relationship could fool you into feeling secure when you’re in it. It "feels" like there’s history and trust which is already the first warning sign in this story. Apparently Beyers acquired a second factory which was already supplying Checkers and Pick 'n Pay. According to Beyers, this was a way to increase volumes, support mechanisation, diversify the business, and reduce their dependence on Woolworths, especially because Woolworths had already started bringing in other chocolate brands years earlier. Woolworths apparently found out about the second factory and took issue with it. The dispute centred on exclusivity. According to Kees Beyers, Woolworths wanted the second factory closed but Beyers refused. From a business owner’s point of view, I understand why. Beyers had reportedly invested around R200 million and had roughly 75 employees at that second site. You don’t just switch that off because a major client is uncomfortable with you diversifying. Then came the hammer as Woolworths reduced its orders. First by around R100 million and then by another R100 million a few months later. When one customer carries that much weight in your business, they don’t have to “kill” you in some dramatic movie villain way. They just have to reduce orders and suddenly cash flow gets squeezed, your bank gets nervous, your options disappear, and the thing you spent decades building can start falling apart in real time. The exclusivity issue itself is still disputed. Beyers says the exclusivity agreement expired in 2019. Woolworths apparently says it rolled over automatically. Woolworths has also said it cannot comment on the details of the relationship because of confidentiality 🤣 I want to personally remind you. Corporate companies are not people. They don’t operate on loyalty, memory, history, or sentiment in the way small business owners often do. They operate through systems, contracts, leverage, risk management and self preservation. If you build your business around one massive corporate client, and that client decides you’ve stepped outside the lines, they will likely not sit down and ask how this affects your people, your factory, your investment, or your future. If you take ANYTHING from this post, it's an understanding of WHAT (not who) you’re dealing with. Never forget this and play the game accordingly 🤓

There is nothing special about this Arsenal side. They are an elite, well-drilled machine....but every machine has a kill switch. If you want to outplay them, don't play their game. If you want to beat them, don't match their rhythm. Break it. Suffocate their build-up, Saliba or Zubimendi will fold and the whole structure starts to creak. Arteta's system is built on control tempo, spacing, composure. Deny them those three things, and suddenly simple passes become complicated, midfield dominance evaporates, and the errors begin to creep in. Press them relentlessly, press them aggressively but with intelligence. Not reckless chaos.......calculated aggression. Force them into uncomfortable areas, rush their decisions, and make every touch feel heavy. Once they wobble, attack with conviction. Test the goalkeeper repeatedly with shots, quick and early. Even the best eventually crack under sustained pressure. Football, like life, rewards volume. Then comes the inevitable Martinelli switch. Whenever Arsenal need an injection of chaos, he is usually the card Arteta plays. To counter that, you need a right-back with pace, strength, and a touch of controlled violence. Match his speed, dominate the duel, and Arsenal lose one of their most dangerous escape routes. And then, of course, the set pieces. Arsenal have turned dead balls into an art form. Remove that weapon, and their cutting edge diminishes significantly. No cheap fouls. No needless corners. No invitations. Manchester United demonstrated this perfectly at the Emirates. That result was not fortune......it was tactical execution. Atlético Madrid showed flashes of the same blueprint, particularly in the second half. They disrupted Arsenal, unsettled them, and created the exact kind of chaos Arsenal dislike. Their only crime was failing to land the decisive second blow. And history offers a familiar warning. March to June has often been Arsenal's annual system reboot period when the software starts lagging, the fans start buffering, and the title challenge suddenly needs troubleshooting.

Atlético Madrid and Man Utd are the two teams to record the most shots against Arsenal in a single game this season 😮‍💨 Arsenal didn’t lose either match 🧱

@StokeyyG2 Bad result for Arsenal and Arteta would be CL final loser and EPL 2nd…and a pundit who was lucky to play for Liverpool because of nationality says that Arteta might be a fraud. Could Arne Slot be a fraud too?

We need an honest conversation about the out-of-stadium experience and planning of the Soweto derby. I took my family today & the experience outside the suite or the stadium is unacceptably bad. Those staging the derby have to know that how customers experience the entire day is part of the game. Or am I wrong?

In August 1988, Shirley Gunn walked into the headquarters of the Western Cape Military Command in Cape Town carrying a limpet mine hidden inside a custard box. Wearing a sunhat, sunglasses and a dress, she did a route check past the Adderley Street flower sellers, bought everlasting flowers as a disguise, and walked straight in. She went to the tearoom and drank tea, careful not to leave fingerprints, waiting for construction workers to leave. She planted the device in a tunnel and walked out, dumping the flowers at the Grand Parade before returning to a safe house in Clifton. Minutes later, the blast tore through the base, causing massive damage but no casualties. In 1986, she left South Africa for Umkhonto we Sizwe military training in Angola and Cuba. When she returned, she went underground, co-commanding the Ashley Kriel Detachment. In 1990, they detained her again, this time with her infant son.

🚨🎙️ Jamie Carragher on Arsenal bottling the league against Man city. "I’m sick of hearing about the 'process.' I’m sick of hearing about how 'young' they are. This is a team that was nine points clear in December. That’s a barricade. That’s a 'do not disturb' sign on the Premier League trophy. And yet, here we are again, watching them look at Manchester City’s taillights. It’s not just a collapse; it’s an annual tradition at the Emirates now, isn't it? I remember being in that tunnel at Anfield. You look at the players next to you and you know—you know—if they’ve got the stomach for it when the weather turns cold and the pressure gets heavy. In December, Arsenal were playing champagne football. Everyone was happy, Saka’s smiling, Ødegaard is doing flicks. It’s easy to play when you’re nine points clear and the sun is—well, the winter sun is out. They don't look like they're chasing a title; they look like they're running away from a ghost. The ghost of the last two seasons. I see Mikel Arteta talking about 'pride.' Pride? You’ve just let the biggest lead in the club's modern history vanish into thin air! If I’m in that dressing room, I’m throwing tea urns. I’m demanding to know why we stopped doing the basics that got us nine points clear. They’ll finish second. Again. And people will say, 'Oh, but they’re closer to City.' No. They aren't. Being second by two points is the same as being second by twenty.

@theesamasambit Why do think poor South Africans children need free WiFi? How would a poor child connect to the free WiFi, they’re poor remember. No food, home, no clothes, definitely no computer, cellphone, tv, they’re simply poor… But the richest man want them to have WiFi
