@KevinRickard4 @owenpeery Wow! Neat idea. Curious if this is PLA or ABS filament? We use PLA at my school.

@owenpeery I shred or breakup the filament waste and melt them in the oven in a cookie sheet. Different sizes of cookie sheets for different sizes of clipboards.

We’ve been busy with our 3D printing at school. Now time to do something with the waste products. Let’s make more clipboards.

@WadeSusanTL Actually bought those hangers (+ pulled some from existing funky junk hoard) to use as potential beaks—zoom in on photos to see how kids used them. You’re going to try this project out?! Shop class off cuts were some of my scraps + 2x4s left from previous Lib #woodwork projects

@WadeSusanTL Great question. Hemmed/hawed about whether to add hangers. Mostly pitched idea that they can stand up on shelves (since base block is a nice wide 2x4). Displaying that way tomorrow. + going to give the option of a simple drill hole in the back so they can also be hung on a nail.
