Tanganga struggles against anyone 5’10 or above. Physically inept at this level without Jake Cooper next to him. Played well for 55 mins. Lost our way. A lot of players on the beach as soon as they scored. Loans this year been horrific. Stay up and go again.

Personally think we run out of steam and as soon as the press goes (35 mins ish), similar happened against them lot, it all goes flat for a period, then other team get on top unless it’s a two goal margin. #sufc

I actually think we defended pretty well tonight. Davies wasn’t coming for ball 4 yards away from corners so that was inevitable but otherwise did okay. Seriki one is crazy. But even if you defend well, you can’t do it for 45+ mins when the ball just keeps coming back.

Appreciate the input from @jjwhaling. There seems to be an extra scenario where Wednesday would be relegated on Saturday IF Blackburn lose then West Brom & Leicester both win. In any scenario, West Brom have to win to see the Owls down before Sunday. #SWFC | @footballheaven

If Leicester and Blackburn are both on 35 that would be enough to relegate Wednesday, providing WBA win, as they have to play each other and can’t both lose. Also applies if Leicester are on 33 and Blackburn 35. Owls couldn’t catch both. But WBA must win.

Agree to some extent. This is very common in academy football. Athletes first, footballers second. That way they have a better chance of making it at a professional level (fee for academy selling to champ/ L1/2) but lower chance of making it at the top level.

It’s hard to judge that because we’ve made 10 changes but for what’s it’s worth, I’ve been involved with and watched enough football to know this won’t work without significant investment. I think current starting XI with same system finishes bottom half. #sufc

Never, ever going to work in this system and not sure it really worked last year for the financial outlay at his age. Never thought we’d get a fee back so if we replace with someone who will score 5-8 goals next year - good deal.
