🤕 Injury Update: Latrell Mitchell
Rabbitohs centre Latrell Mitchell has ruled himself out of the first State of Origin match for 2026.
Mitchell spoke with NSW Blues Coach Laurie Daley today (Sunday) to let him know that he was not 100% fit due to his back injury, and that he did not want to let his State or his Club down.
Mitchell will not play in round 12 for the Rabbitohs against the Cowboys, with South Sydney having the bye in round 13.

@willgotsis@Waigo23 It isn’t about Tupou but about what Tedesco does. I don’t get when people say he can’t disappear. Why can an attacking player use that to their advantage?
@willgotsis You also can’t stand in the way of play. He may not be able to disappear but at the same time Tedesco can’t go around him. Shouldn’t have been a try.
That’s the sort of decision that should have a video referee getting fired.
No second chances. You fucked up with 8 replays to see, and you’re fucking fired.
