Our SRC Ocean Day fundraiser has started well with many students and staff dressing in blue or with an ocean theme. Money raised goes to The Great Barrier Reef Foundation to help plant new corals.

Our new welcome sign represents all the cultures in our beautiful multicultural school.

Dale Palmer from the White Ribbon Breaking the Silence Program came to train our Waitara staff on the respectful relationships program . We are now proudly a White Ribbon School. @NSWEducation @WhiteRibbonAust

Stage 2 have been investigating changes to the earth’s surface over time. They visited Gibberagong Environmental Education Centre where they were able to see some of these changes and discover reasons for them.

This week Year 5 designed and built catapults as part of our Physical World unit. Students investigated forces and Newton’s laws of motion. Everyone is so glad to be back in the classroom working together again.

Congratulations to our 3 students who received their certificates today from Mrs Coelho for their entrees into the CBCA ‘Collide with the Notables’ competition with their individual movie trailers. We are so proud.@CBCA
