Last night Madison Phillips , Justin Suarez , and Professors Kirby and Garvick met at C45 climbing gym for the first Wilderness Medicine Certificate meeting on the Boone campus. The wilderness medicine certificate provides supplemental training and skills on outdoor emergencies.

NCAPA Rep.Emily Tiehen and Boone Ultrasound Club Pres. Jordan McKain-Miller organized an informative POCUS workshop with Dr. Justin Gambini. Students were able to perfect eFAST exam techniques and practice MSK ultrasound screening for tendon injuries.
