Friday: 8th grade Mohawks started the day at the White House before touring various Smithsonian museums including the Air & Space Museum. We then toured the Holocaust Memorial Museum before enjoying the waterfront in historic Alexandria, VA. #GoMohawks

Today the 8th grade Mohawks visited the US Capitol, Library of Congress, National Archives, Arlington Cemetary, Marines Memorial, 9/11 Memorial, WWII Memorial, and even a fun photo with Einstein! A great day for a great group of students and parents! #GoMohawks

During yesterday’s staff professional development, our teachers learned from one another in a round table format. Four of our teachers shared various strategies they implement in their classrooms. It’s great to see the collaboration among our staff members! #GoMohawks

WHS was the host site for County Band Day today. Students from Morristown, Southwestern, Triton Central, and Waldron came together to practice and perform a concert tonight. They did an amazing job! A big thanks to Ms. Rico for hosting and Dr. Jon Noworyta for guest conducting!

Today in Chemistry, our students got hands-on with a precipitation lab, mixing solutions and watching for exciting color changes as new substances formed. They loved seeing their own solutions work and connecting what they’re learning in class to real lab experiences. #GoMohawks
