Played a little 3B on top of catching today. Took a hard chopper to the collarbone but stuck with it and got the out.
Next scrimmage Wednesday against Fisher Catholic!

I don't usually share my daily message with my team. Today's was centered around an old stat from @DanCevette GPA is one of the most underrated stats in recruiting: 4.0 = 94% of schools can recruit you 3.5 = 72% 3.0 = 51% 2.5 = 21% 2.0 = Only 8% Student-athletes take note.

This was Sunday at our workout. Before this @OwenThomas2028 and I were looking at video of his last bullpen session. This kid is absolutely locked in on developing as a SS and pitcher.

I have grown a lot as a pitcher in the last year. The focus was on forcing weak contact to minimize pitch count and help the team when needed. This off season I have been working on adding some swing and miss to the repertoire. #swingandamiss

Cole does so many things well already. Middle of the order bat, strong performances on the bump utilizing multiple pitches and a big catcher with a quick, accurate arm back there. Just scratching the surface of his talent.

I’ve told players this for years, if there is a D3 program you’re interested in go to their camps! You get a chance to see campus, meet coaches and showcase what you can do in front of them. Ohio is an elite D3 baseball state. Take advantage of these programs in our back yard!

Cole has thrown the ball exceptionally well the last 3 weekends. At 15u if you have a catcher that can consistently be accurate putting the ball on the bag quickly it gives you a chance to get outs on the bases. That’s huge at any age but especially at 15u.
