Does anyone know of any patient led projects who are looking at healthcare sustainability? Please tag any patients, groups or organisations working in this area. Or email edoble@bmj.com. Would love to chat! #SustainableHealthcare

I see we're doing Tipping Discourse again on here so here's my two cents. The US tipping model system is irrational and cruel. It's logic is one of employee monitoring with its roots in Jim Crow racial disciplining and humiliation. It's designed to pit workers against each other

@RenzaS Completely agree. Fine to show mountain climbing but need to show all the hard work behind the scenes. Otherwise it can undermine the fact that this is an extremely serious condition and can slow investment in better treatments and eventually a cure.

@thewrittenro What are your thoughts on using the term ‘hardly reached’? Any better/worse?

I will say this again for the people at the back: there is no such thing as a hard to reach community. There are only excluded communities who are tired of being mistreated by bad systems, bad research etc. PLEASE fix your framing.

How did the covid pandemic affect access to healthcare for people with #type1diabetes? With half of adults with #type1 feeling unsupported with their diabetes at times, read our new report, Covid and Beyond bit.ly/3DOEMfO #GBDoc
