The tank is super insulated that is why I can get away with using only one element to heat my water instead of two. Not how much it draws when heating.

@WalkerWalk35433 @ThisOldHouse @thisoldplumber My tank is glass lined metal and my water heater consumes 2kwh while running, never runs out of hot water. I don’t think plastic makes a difference.
