All things aligned. And @qumo has been telling me for days that $TRUMP is prominent on two fronts: 1. Smart money coming in, and 2. Narrative/Social Attention just going up. This is getting into a bull trend, and whether you like it or not, there's nothing you can do about it. Just saying...

@0xWhaleHL Can you prove "Every Aster announcements tends to mark a local top" based on prev events?

$ASTER Every Aster announcement tends to mark a local top. Surprise drops in low liquidity let insiders dump while the broader market hits new ATL. Indicators clearly show whale distribution. Tokenomics update: Another disappointment. They keep overcomplicating things instead of copying what works. Burns should be automated and permanent (like Hyperliquid’s unlimited model), not capped at 3B tokens. Aster holders keep getting less than competitors, better to switch to $HYPE. The bStock idea is interesting, but Aster’s chronically low liquidity kills it. Whales need deep liquidity, a clean UI, and a pro-friendly DEX. Aster has failed to deliver on execution. Without a strong product, fees and burns won’t matter, volumes will keep dropping and the project will slowly die.

My short was too early, plain and simple. I was wrong to short without proper confirmations. I had already outlined the higher probability approach... wait for clear acceptance within the range. I didn’t follow my own plan. That’s on me. Coming off a strong yearly win streak, it’s easy to let confidence creep into execution. Not in a reckless way, but in subtle ways, entering a bit sooner, anticipating instead of confirming. The setup was there from a TA/PA perspective, but timing is part of the edge, and I compromised on that trying to prove something. That’s the part people don’t talk about enough... it isn't just about being right, it’s about repeating your process without exception. The moment you start bending rules even slightly, because things have been going well, you’re no longer trading your system, you’re trading your ego. Don’t front run your own strategy and don’t trade to validate yourself. It’s easy to fall into that pattern on an app where validation is key. As it stands, I’m still in the position with my stop at 84K, but I have to be honest, it’s looking increasingly likely that it gets taken. That doesn’t change my broader thesis. But if I do get stopped, I’ll reassess with a clear head rather than forcing the next move. We reset, and we go again.

I was wrong.

@TheCryptoCPA Coinbase also wrote Date Acquired for each transaction (though cost basis is written UNKNOWN) on their 1099 DA. Do they report Date Acquired also to IRS?

If you are confused about the interaction between 1099-DAs, the Coinbase tax center, and whether you still need crypto tax software, you are not alone. There's a TON of misinformation out there. Here's exactly how these three things work together and what you actually need to do to stay out of IRS trouble: 🧵

@CryptoTaxGirl Exchange already filled "date acquired"(date coin was sent to exchange, not bought) on each transaction witho unknown cost basis, on the 1099DA form they gave me. Does the government receive this false "date acquired" on their version of 1099DA form too?

Be careful if you're doing your taxes yourself on TurboTax or using a CPA who isn't familiar with crypto this year, because with the new 1099-DA if the cost basis is left as zero, you'll substantially overpay on your taxes.

$BTC The last time we saw a dump like this on a similar timeframe, this was the result shortly after. If we follow the same playbook... hated rally loading. Far fetched fractal but extremely similar context.

US consumer appetite for holiday spending is falling: In November, Americans estimated that they would spend an average of $778 on holiday gifts, down -$229 from October. This marks the largest drop in expected holiday spending in data going back to 2006, according to a Gallup survey. This is also -$234 lower than last year’s November spending expectations of $1,012. By comparison, during the 2008 Financial Crisis, the November decline was -$185. Both high- and low-income Americans lowered their expectations last month. Stagflation is weighing on US consumer spending plans.

To your interpretation without the rules of the system the pivots are inflection points in time. The direction “expected” for them is based on the rules of the system. If you want to know that then you have to learn the system or wait for technical confirmations on the LTF to make an educated guess on what the pivot is representing.

$BTC For the first time in weeks, BTC didn’t pump over the weekend, it actually moved lower. Instead of setting up the usual bullish narrative heading into Monday, this created a bearish one. Based on the last 300 days of price action, there’s roughly a 36% chance that Monday opens with a pivot low rather than a pivot high. Interestingly, those pivot lows tend to form specifically when we enter Monday with a bearish narrative, not a bullish one. Because of that dynamic, I positioned myself on the long side, favoring the 36% scenario over the 64% one implied by broader market structure.

$BTC As you can see, we are not pumping into Monday 😉 This means that their is a chance Monday forms a pivot low instead of a pivot high.

@CryptoSays What is the status with 1D WP currently? I am confused. Sunday/Monday WP if it goes up from here? Tuesday WP if it gets rejected at 107500 and goes down?

Break the soul of a man. NOTHING in life is better doing that than the market. Nothing humbles you like a market that doesn’t share your beliefs. Arrogance is simply untrained risk tolerance, teach the mind to sit still. That's why you see people being wrong over and over, constantly wiped by the tides of the market. That's why few... 👺 Stay humble, learn to listen.

@IncomeSharks Also, I suggest you to look at Binance tether spot BTC chart. Way more accurate, and you can even use OBV support + resistances, not just trendline

$BTC - Way too early to celebrate, even if it's looking better. OBV with a tiny spike up but the trend is still down. Stocks being green definitely helps too. I'm one step closer to being bullish again but I want confirmation not impulse reactions.
