@CjusdCte GTHS @SkillsUSA members got some great hands on experiences at the #CIEF Trades Day for the IE. Many skilled trades and even resume reviews. The future is bright for our hard working students! Looking forward to getting our CIEF Design Build Team for 2026 going!

A small space won't prevent learning about residential construction. Ss even helped create an exact 1/4 scale framed shed teaching model. I ripped down the lumber, and used magnets to connect the corners for easy storage. @CjusdCte @GTHSENGINEERING

Now sophomores, their hard work has paid off! Out of 70 entries nationwide, Jaxson Lindsey reeled in 3rd place in the hard bait category with his lure design, the “Rattle Trap”, featuring a metal BB inside to attract predators.

GTHS Engineering Students Place in Purdue Fishing Lure Competition🎣 Last year, Grand Terrace High School freshmen took on the Purdue National High School Fishing Lure Design Competition, where they studied bio-mimicry, designed their own fishing lures, and brought them to life.
