Asked Jayson Tatum if it was ever tempting to wait until next season, knowing that he could shake off the rust behind closed doors rather than in public. Thought his answer was super thoughtful: "It was a range of emotions, of things I was dealing with and contemplating and thinking about. Obviously, physically getting cleared by everybody. And, lot of it had to do with where the team was at, and never wanting to take moments in a season for granted, just thinking like, ‘Oh, we’ll be good next year.’ It's like, I've been in the league a long time, I've been fortunate to be on a lot of really good teams. And you never want to take for granted opportunity to be on the team that's contending for a championship. I had never had basketball taken away from me, so I always — I never took the game for granted, but as you can imagine, how much I missed playing basketball. The little kid inside me, that that's all I wanted to do my entire life. So, when I was cleared and got the opportunity, it was a lot of people I talked to to make the decision, knowing that I wasn't going to be perfect when I first came on the floor, but showing my teammates that I was willing to fight through it, and give it my all. And even though I wouldn't be as in-rhythm or in condition at first, I knew it was going to take some time, but I wanted to be out there with him, I was gonna do whatever it took.”

Max Iheabachor should be someone #Patriots fans have on their radar. 2nd-3rd round projection in the NFL Draft, he’s a pure RT and sits at 6;6 330lbs.

@NickCRadio @LO_patriots I like him, Nick because it hedges our bets for the future, not just at RT but also LT if Will Campbell continues struggles against elite pass rushers. This guy seems very projectable.

In the latest @LO_Patriots, we discuss why drafting an OT at #31 isn't necessarily a bad idea. However, if you draft Iheanachor at #31, he's not part of your starting five up front. It does NOTHING to help the Pats improve their pass pro in '26, unless there's an injury.
Carlos A. Lopez@LosTalksPats

In @nflnetwork analyst Charles Davis’ latest mock draft, he has the #Patriots selecting OT Max Iheanachor with the 31st pick. “Plenty of development lies ahead for Iheanachor, but the Patriots have to improve the pass protection...” Iheanachor played right tackle in college.

@ezlazar Pats need to address offensive tackle. Successor to Moses or to Campbell if he continues to struggle vs elite defensive ends.

@StoolGreenie The Celtic player player pushes Shai’s arm and shoulder at the time he was crossing over. Defense initiates this shit. Shai does not. It alway payback.

@ezlazar Super Bowl told us to draft Tackle in 1st round. Either to replace Moses or Campbell if he doesn’t improve and needs to shift over. Hurst interesting with 2nd round pick but may not be there.

The level of competition wasn't always pro-caliber, but Ted Hurst's 4.42-speed at 6-3, 206 seems to fit the type of receiver the #Patriots are reportedly in on. The second gear to either run under the deep ball or break away from the pack is impressive.

NEW: It's now more lucrative to have a losing sports team than a championship team. We examined the Boston Red Sox to see how private equity and cost cutting invaded sports. In this era, teams want to sell good players for profit more than they want to have a good season.

This guy is obviously full of shit, and I’m not a fan of the Rooney Rule, but the NFL is built on connections while the vast majority of people with power are white men We need BETTER avenues toward giving overlooked groups legitimate opportunities, and diversity does matter!

Attorney General James Uthmeier@AGJamesUthmeier

Professional sports are a visible example of a merit-based system, but through the Rooney Rule, the NFL requires its teams to use race-based hiring practices. We are putting Commissioner Roger Goodell on notice: the Rooney Rule violates Florida law, and it must stop.

@Pete_Collins_ I would but doubt he’d be there. Most likely will not go past low 20’s. Could be 3rd receiver off the board.

Mel Kiper mocked KC Concepcion to the Pats at 31 and honestly I get it. 61 catches, 919 yards, 9 TDs, 15.1 per catch and legit return juice. If he’s there at 31, would you want New England to pull the trigger or are you still going OL/EDGE?

Margot Robbie says I, Tonya (2017) was the first role she truly lost herself in. She got so deep into Tonya’s mindset that she screamed for help over a “broken hand” that wasn’t actually broken. “I had lost my mind.”

Absolute bombshell. Data reveals someone made a massive 580 MILLION dollar trade on oil exactly 15 minutes BEFORE Donald Trump posted his tweet about pausing the Iran war. Someone on the inside just made a life changing fortune. The corruption is blatant.

Six plays, 101 seconds on Ole Miss WR De’Zhaun Stribling — he went on a CFP heater (17-278-1 in 3 gms)! Some shades of Romeo Doubs (Doubs = slightly better routes at Nevada, but same size, similar play style and faster). *save your energy on camera work/production value comments. Best I’m able/willing to do with two hands while stopping down quickly from finalizing his report.

I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire. It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs. Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ? Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us. Call your senator and tell them to support the BreakUp Big Medicine Bill by @HawleyMO and @SenWarren.

🚨 2026 MOCK DRAFT 1.0 🚨 Cashius Howell and Kyle Louis add some speed to the defense. Michael Trigg and De'Zhaun Stribling bring physicality and upside to the offense. I'd like to see them take some big swings, as you can probably see.
