@HillF1 Absolutely dreadful. F1 should reward the brave, the pole lap looked like a casual Sunday drive. Sadly everyone at @SkySportsF1 will just wax lyrical about how fantastic it is. Wrong direction, terrible look & until someone with power grows some balls then it's a waste of time.

@F1 @pirellisport This is absolute garbage. A pole lap in Q3 should be all out, leave nothing on the table, ringing the neck of the car. This is just an equivalent of a Sunday morning drive. There is more existence of cans of #RichEnergy than the level of attack on display here.

@MBrundleF1 Sorry Martin, after watching quali, I have to disagree. It is quite clear you have been paid to say this. The cars are an absolute abomination and it doesn't help that you all @SkySportsF1 can't call out what an absolute 💩 show this has become.

Despite all the doubts and high level criticism about F1 2026 I’m totally relaxed after day one of action. The cars look great and very lively, and the drivers heroic whilst wrestling significantly lower grip, and I’m confident it’s going to be a competitive and unpredictable season.

Rich Energy: The Storey That Keeps On Giving Checking in on our old friend William Storey, CEO of Lightning Volt, formerly known as Rich Energy, whose company is currently under compulsory liquidation. In the latest report, the liquidator notes a Director’s Loan Account of ~£440,000, meaning Storey withdrew company funds and now personally owes that sum back to the estate. Storey disputes this and instead claims he is owed an additional bonus payment, as he believes Rich Energy was once valued at £50-60 million. From the report: "According to current information, the DLA stands at approximately £440,000. I have written to the Director requesting repayment proposals; The director has claimed that this amount is not due. Following a review of the information provided, we believe that this amount is due. We are currently liaising with our solicitors with a view to instigating formal recovery action to pursue this debt." "The director has maintained that the Company did not own any intellectual property, notwithstanding that he believed the Company was once valued at circa £50m to £60m. Indeed, it is on this basis that the director believes he is owed a bonus from the Company and is the basis of his claim against the Company." As of April 2025, there are ~£1.8 million in claims against the company, however there's only ~£4,000 left in the bank accounts.
