Funny thing is, if Talk Of New York lines up for the 2000 Guineas, he probably wins it. It’s more likely that they still can’t settle him in time for it though, and he misses the race.
He’d be Buick’s pick in the race.
@adrian_c_king Fair enough. 25s is a big price which she won’t be if she goes. Open race for sure. Think she could run in the places running on. Not sure she is my winner of a 1G though.
@WalterRacing1 Potentially, yes.
But if she’s going to run in the Oaks, I think she’ll run in the Guineas.
And if she wins a prep race between now and the Guineas, she’ll be shorter than 25/1 on the day.
Lots of talk about the Ballydoyle fillies today, but is Abashiri the value in the 1000 Guineas right now?
Impressive debut winner ✅
By Frankel ✅
Out of a Grp 1-winning Dubawi mare ✅
Full-sister Grp 2 winner and Grade 1-placed ✅
I definitely wouldn’t lay her at 25/1…
@puntingseason You don’t know that with Hawk Mountain just yet. Minds can change. Horses will get beat in trials and others may surprise them in lead up. Action has every right to be there. Second in the racing post (beat Bene) by a 1/2L and 3rd in royal lodge. Both inadequate trips.
@racingguides@willhewitt1010 Certainly think Precise just wins if it turned up A1. AOB thinks they have plenty of time to get her ready. If not, wide open. You also get unexposed fillies like the godolphin pair that could be anything.
@WalterRacing1@willhewitt1010 She's an odd one TPS because her joint sire index is very low for a Guineas horse but they couldn't pull her up at the Rockfel
@racingguides@willhewitt1010 Yeah. I would personally like the Zanthos and The Prettiest Star form line without having a bet at this stage. Perhaps TPS for me. Further improvement for a mile. Dip in track only concern
@WalterRacing1@willhewitt1010 AOB keeps going on about how she's similar to her sire SMB so I don't think she's going to want it fast either, all which is why they were in France anyway I think. It's going to massively open up the 1000 Guineas market if Precise is missing
@racingguides@willhewitt1010 Yeah. I actually think Diamond Necklace would have been shorter when the Precise news broke. Personally don’t think her form is much tbh and she wants further imo.
@WalterRacing1@willhewitt1010 If Diamond Necklace was that good I think they'd have run her at Newmarket anyway. Got a feeling she will stay in France regardless and they'll give True Love a go at a mile for Newmarket if Precise is out
@SupremacyYYY_@tayz2017 Yeah I wouldn’t look too much into riders. Think @tayz2017 is right though. Clearly the horse has/had a fever of some sort and took it lightly today. Still have till early May. Just a waiting game with how horse responds in lead up to 1000g.
@WalterRacing1@tayz2017 Yes he always Referred to Roger as her rider & has done a great job with her by all accounts as she’s not easy. I remember watching a video of the breeders cup and had Rachel Richardson onboard over there and she expressed that Roger Quinlan rides her everyday and done some job.

Selection ; Rexem 4.27 @DownpatrickRace#ulsternational at Downpatrick today and two time course winner Rexem caught the eye last time behind Kelce at Musselburgh. Stamina test to suit hopefully and Eoin Staples takes off a valuable five pounds. 🍀🤞
Just to let you all know your 2000 guineas winner can still be backed at 7/1 still or 10s if you listened to me going back…. GEWAN , GOOD LUCK AND THANKS✈️✈️
