My updates from the new NCC guidelines for aSAH (see 📸 ✅). There are many gaps in knowledge that have not been answered since the prior edition in 2011, opening the door for more research. I still need to check the new AHA guidelines.

My take home message💡: avoid high protein doses in pts with AKI and multiple organ failure. Caution must be take on certain populations (Eg. burns) that only had a small # of cases in this trial.
