Little did Ricky know that his last exercise would become his ‘final shout’ to save lives at sea. Whilst out at sea, Ricky and the crew responded to a Pan Pan urgent call from a yacht taking on water just off Walton Pier.

Meet Ricky Farrance, 2nd coxswain at @WaltonRNLI Lifeboat Station. After over 30 years of service, Ricky has retired from the RNLI. But just before he retired, Ricky took the station’s Tamar class lifeboat out to sea for one final exercise.
