We want visionary digital art to break free from this small space, but the bigger problem may be the lack of visionary collectors. We need maverick collectors. Too much herd mentality. Same safe, pre-approved taste. Same small circle congratulating itself for backing their friends’ work that neither reaches outside the space nor says anything new. It’s a dynamic that’s pushing artists to dumb down their work to be palatable enough to marketable here. Let dead artists and movements rest.

Will an artist still be called an artist if they moved on from certain platform and tried something new? Will an artist still be called an artist if they doesn't create what the masses like? Will an artist still be called an artists if they doesn't sold out?

I am so grateful to have people like you guys that see that something in my work. I’ve proved that with or without sales, I still create, I still show up and try to grow. But this support helps me even more in wanting to create new stuff & believe in the future. To other artists struggling to be seen & make a sale, stay true to your journey. It’s not easy for the non blue chip artists but we’re in this together. We will have our ups & downs, but I’m confident better days will come 🫡

Before the month of May is over, I better post this. I’ve been overwhelmed with work and things in real life and recent events with family that I hadn’t had the time to make a post. Thank you so much brother @WanZ_Ink for this wonderful Star Wars print “May The Force Be With You” which I received earlier this month. It looks freaking awesome and this will definitely be a wonderful edition to my collection of physical artworks. I absolutely love it and it looks freaking amazing!
