As Soldiers from across the 101st ABD (Air Assault) move to aid and support the people of Asheville, NC and the surrounding area, the 160th SOAR is helping to bring Soldiers to where they can do the most good. We'll continue to work with our partners to aid and assist.

The Town of Black Mountain is asking folks to hold off on donations for a few weeks. We are overwhelmed with supplies. Some churches are even having to turn supplies away. It’s a logistics nightmare. We’ll need help for MONTHS. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

FEMA personnel going door to door? So many homes totally destroyed and others that can’t be reached, but you can apply for $750 in aid? We CAN do better than this America!!

@TravisTritt @oakridgeboys @joebonsall One of the reasons I stayed on Twitter was to follow Joe and his family. His humility and true down-to-earth spirit, not his fame, is what kept me checking up on him every few days. I am saddened that he has left his earthly home but rejoice in his heavenly home with Jesus.

My heart is heavy this morning after hearing that my friend @oakridgeboys tenor @joebonsall has passed away at the age of 76. Joe had amazing talent and a wonderful personality and he will be missed terribly by everyone who knew him. Joe is with our Lord Jesus now and that brings me some comfort. My heartfelt condolences go out to Joe’s wife, Mary Ann, his children and all his extended family. RIP🙏🏼

Little Red had a great outing at the Oklahoma Junior Hereford show. She received a scholarship for Faces of Leadership training. Qualified to help represent Oklahoma at the Junior Nationals in the quiz bowl. Installed as a board member for the OJHA. Maybe more if she tells me

@scottwestacre I am so sorry! We have endured similar losses over 3 decades of marriage. It doesn’t get easier. We are beef producers and we care deeply for our cattle. After a difficult delivery one Sunday morning my husband gave a calf CPR trying to save it. I’m sure #88 knew of your care.

My personal statement … “Many of you know I have been battling a slow onset (over 4 years now) of a neuromuscular disorder. I am now to a point that walking is impossible so I have basically retired from the road. It has just gotten too difficult. It has been a great 50 years and I am thankful to all the Oak Ridge Boys band crew and staff for the constant love and support shown to me through it all. I will never forget and for those of you who have been constantly holding me up in prayer I thank you and ask for you to keep on praying. There is a young man named Ben James singing for me out there and he needs your love and encouragement … his sound is different than mine but he brings a ton of talent to the table!
