I think many of them do it on a gamble that maybe this particular woman will be too uncomfortable,too weak, too docile, too polite, too shocked, or too conditioned to push back against it.

I have a theory: a lot of men who make inappropriate sexual advances to women are not doing it because they genuinely believe every woman wants them. That logic doesn’t even align with their common idea that men are supposedly the more sexual or polygamous gender
