@geekyranjit Smartphone prices have gone insanely high, citing increases in RAM/processor prices. People will now use their phones for more years before buying new ones. The smartphone industry definitely should do something to keep prices sane and justifiable. Your opinion?

@geekyranjit Why didn't Samsung change their camera sensors in the S26 Ultra? The additional cost for the latest camera sensors would not have been a few thousand rupees. They would do wonders if they combined their good quality image processing with good hardware. What do you think?

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra actually uses an 8 bit panel with FRC and is not really a true 10-bit panel.
Yes, the banding reduces and you can still get a slightly wider colour gamut as displayed in our Netflix comparison footage but it won't perform like true 10-bit panels.

Just received confirmation from Samsung - S26 Ultra has an 8 bit display, not a 10 bit display as we were originally told. That means it can only display 16 million colours instead of 1 billion, and just uses tech designed to "simulate 10 bit". Not a problem that's easy to notice when you're using it, but nonetheless this does put Samsung's display behind most current flagship phones for colour reproduction

@BookMyForex They first accept the order, then their vendor cancels it. There's no courtesy call from them. I have to call them for a refund, but the refund still hasn't been processed. Horrible service. Your money gets blocked as they don't process refunds.
