The Casino in this movie looks stunning and there's this great tracking shot, but I think this side plot is so incredibly boring. It's the most surface level capitalist critique that some people in this fandom inexplicably hail as an avant-garde political message. It feels even weaker after two seasons of Andor actually tackled this issue in an interesting manner. I think even The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones do a better job showing us how the giant mega corporations will always stand on the side of fascism.

@TSoS_ The physics on a universe make it grounded and understandable. When you see something on movie or a video game, you tend to think it is like it was our world, and have the same set of rules. When they decide what works and what doesn’t the illusion brakes and fall apart.

The Resistance Bombers look really cool but I hate how easily all of them are destroyed for plot convenience. The actress for Paige Tico does an incredible job in her two minutes of screentime and the visuals & tension of the bomb dropping sequence are great. (No, I do not care about the bombs "falling down in space", this is Star Wars and I don't understand why people insist this doesn't make sense to this day)

@EzraCubero The force awakens sadly fails at the instant the legacy characters appear on screen. And is downhill from there. While TLJ try to put a “new” direction, fails to do it in the same movie! Also the lack of a real idea for a reason to this new trilogy, results on tros.

The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi are fantastic companion films. If the production of The Rise of Skywalker wasn't based on the studio being reactionary to online outrage and didn't abandon the vision of those two films, we wouldn't have gotten such a disastrous finale.

No entiendo la polémica del Mixtape, está clase de juegos llevan muchos años, What Remains of Edith Finch es el ejemplo más claro, no tiene decisiones ni casi jugabilidad y es una absoluta maravilla. Mixtape es muy bueno,no una obra maestra pero dentro de su genero está muy bien.
