What looked like a random sci-fi prop turned out to be a prize from Taco Bell’s 1997 Intergalactic Draw Sweepstakes tied to the Star Wars Special Edition re-releases. The statue recreates Han Solo frozen in carbonite, one of the franchise’s most iconic scenes from The Empire Strikes Back. Pieces like this were never widely sold, and nearly three decades later, one resurfaced with its original contest paperwork and certificate of authenticity.
