Upcoming WoW subscription rewards. The fiery mount and pet will likely be for Lunar New Year 2026, year of the Fire Horse. As usual, the pet reward will be initially Classic-only, and will hopefully make its way to the Retail shop eventually

There's a new bundle in the Blizzard Store, the Amethyst Felfire Pack, that includes the Mustyfur Fel Snooter battle pet. The bundle costs $30 USD, offer ends January 12, 2026.

Blizzard has posted a feedback thread on Alpha forums regarding Pet Battles in Midnight. There will be pets to collect, Pet Battle combat (that they want to iterate on), as well as some experimental alternative methods to acquiring pets in the expansion. us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/feedb…

The new wild pets of Midnight have an updated capture system and are flagged as non-combat companions. It's unclear what this means for the future of Pet Battles, however, Pet Battles does appear to still be an activity in Midnight. warcraftpets.com/news/midnight-…
