I have shut down my 100 crores course business. And converted it into a subscription! Between making more money and helping more people - the choice was super clear to me! WebVeda now gives access to ALL courses, for the price of one course. As a WebVeda member you will get: - ALL courses, present and future (we add a course every day, every week, every month) - An exclusive members-only community - Personalized jobs based on your skills
100% refund policy, as always. Skills. Community. Jobs. Growth as a subscription.

All 5 lakh existing WebVeda students have been upgraded to the membership for FREE. I want every person in this country with a phone and an internet connection to have the same learning, networking and job opportunities in life as someone born into privilege. Where they were born, how much they earn, what language they speak - none of such things should ever matter.

Loved the format; enjoyed my chat with 6 smart, sharp thinkers :)

What does success really mean in today’s world? Why does Gen Z feel so overwhelmed, lost, anxious and constantly pressured to “figure life out”? In this deeply honest conversation, Ankur Warikoo(@warikoo) sits down with a group of young people from different backgrounds to talk about: - Overthinking - Relationships - Money & financial pressure - Validation - Purpose - Boundaries - Self-confidence - Social media influence - Buying a house - Career confusion - Authenticity - Finding yourself in a hyper-connected world From discussing why relationships matter more than success… to why most people are trapped by money and societal expectations… to how small promises to yourself can completely change your life — this is one of Ankur’s most raw and reflective conversations yet. Some powerful ideas explored in this episode: - “You cannot win people without losing yourself.” - Why saying NO is so difficult - Why Gen Z struggles with overthinking - The difference between possibility vs probability - Why buying freedom matters more than buying things - Why you don’t need to own a house early in life - How to stop seeking validation - How to build self-respect through tiny promises - Why your algorithm becomes your reality If you’ve ever felt confused about life, money, relationships or your future — this conversation is for you. #AnkurWarikoo #GenZ #SelfGrowth #Money #Relationships #Overthinking #PersonalFinance #MentalHealth #SelfImprovement #DeKoder

Why is my morning routine structured the way it is? I wake up between 4:30–5 a.m. every day (including weekends) First thing I do is sip a glass of water for 10-15 minutes. This allows me to wake up slowly. To savor the first touch of water. To set the day's rhythm (which is to avoid feeling rushed) Then I meditate for 30 minutes. This is to listen to my thoughts, not to control them. So, before I listen to or attend to anyone, I attend to myself. Haven't missed a day for 6 years now! Then I read for 30 mins. This is to feed my mind the right diet.  So, before garbage enters my mind (through mindless scrolling or emails or messages), I nourish it. Then I get my kids ready for school (30 mins) This reminds me of the most precious role I play in my life :) Then I play tennis for an hour This is to wake up my body. Get it moving. Taste the sweat. Then I lift weights at the gym for an hour This is to strengthen the body, build muscles, so that it can age well and hopefully provide me good company as I age. Then I come back and read the newspaper for 15 minutes. This is my first connection with the world, after waking up. But I am reading the news that I chose to read. To the extent I chose to read. I won't be dragged into a mindless debate, and I'm not being offered any breaking news. Then I do epic s**t :)) and shower. And then I sit down to work, around 9:30 a.m. By this time I have given myself 4-5 years of a ritual that has cleansed and nourished my mind, soul, and body. Ready to face what the world offers. This routine works for me. It will not work for you. But a routine will surely work for you. Build yours today!

I am shutting down my 100 crores courses business. We’ve grown beyond what I could have imagined, since we started in 2020. 5 lakh students. 100 crores in sales. 25 crores in profits. But it makes no sense to continue it. I’ll be sharing more about my decision and what happens next tomorrow, May 16, 8:30 PM. Set a reminder here: youtube.com/live/VXdxOqjEu…

India has built a fiscal system where extremely few contributes directly, almost everyone receives, and accountability has nowhere to anchor. The core finding: when governments collect tax from citizens, citizens demand more accountability, and governance improves. I recall reading, I think it was the RBI Bulletin 2022 on state freebies which had done a study. freebies undermine credit culture, distort prices, erode incentives for private investment, and disincentivize work at the lower end.

I beg to differ, Mr.Warikoo, There is actually academic research that points in the opposite direction. A paper published in the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization titled “The Earned Income Tax Credit, Mental Health, and Happiness” found that lower-income households experienced: lower depression, higher happiness, and improved self-esteem after tax-credit expansion. Several later studies on EITC and income-support policies also found improvements in mental health and subjective wellbeing among lower-income groups. Economically too, a small amount of disposable income in lower-income households tends to have far higher marginal utility than the same amount with ultra-high earners. So the argument that exempting lower-income earners from direct taxes creates a “bad precedent” may not be strongly supported either psychologically or behaviorally. If there are other research papers that shaped your view, would genuinely like to read them. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Thank you. The important part is zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. Best way to put money in someone’s pocket is to not take it out in the first place. Bottom half is only 3% of total tax revenue. But it’s very meaningful to that person. Zero it out.
Chris | Venture X Media@thecoachchris_

Facts It's great that Jeff Bezos thinks this way, because too many people who don't make money think that giving money to the government will solve a lot of their problems. They think these government programs are the answer, and it's clearly not. You can look at the federal level or at the state level, and you will see that a lot of government programs are simply waste.

Got my first license in 2000 (when I turned 20) in Delhi. Gave the learner's test. Got a learner's license. Then after 30 days - the main license. When I went to collect it - I was asked for money. I gave it. Renewal was in 2020. Went to office. Digital appointment. Got the license - delivered at doorstep. Not even an extra paisa exchanged. Renewal now in 2030 :)

Internet self-help often relies on blunt, actionable steps over deep emotional processing. While a "tough love" approach can definitely jumpstart a new chapter, rigid statements like "no one is coming to save you" can sometimes lack the nuance and empathy a struggling person is looking for.

Received an email yesterday I have written this mail to you many times in my head, hoping I would someday gather the courage to actually send it across and receive some advice or mentorship that could help me figure my life out better. I am turning 30 and am based out of Kolkata. I work in a small brokerage company in sell-side equity research. I completed my MBA from **** in 2019. Since then, I have been in Kolkata starting with **** in a Relationship Manager role in corporate banking sales before eventually switching to a core finance role. I feel stuck in the slowness of Kolkata. I have applied multiple times outside the city but never truly gathered the courage to move, and the compensation outside never felt attractive enough either. My parents are aging rapidly my father is 65+ and my mother is 60+. I live with them, which has naturally made me comfortable, although I come from a family that values education, independence, and freedom. Nobody has ever controlled my choices. My recent breakup, however, has shaken me deeply. This was my third relationship, and for the first time, I genuinely thought I would marry this person. I am an emotionally sensitive person, and I always wanted communication, emotional intimacy, and problem-solving. But he avoided difficult conversations because he had grown up seeing conflict at home and wanted “peace” at all costs. He would comply with plans but rarely make efforts himself. He had a huge social circle family and friends while I had almost none. He was emotionally unavailable even on important occasions like my birthday. Even after the breakup, he said he realized his mistakes and wanted to fix things after my exam, but that never truly happened. I wrote long paragraphs trying to explain my feelings, needs, and emotional pain, but I would mostly receive silence or emotional avoidance. Now he has moved to Bangalore for a new job something I had encouraged him to do for years. Through social media and mutual connections, I can see him implementing many of the boundaries and life changes I once requested from him. I have finally blocked him, but emotionally I have not moved on. I have become addicted to AI conversations, astrology analyses, and trying to understand whether my relationships are somehow karmic because astrologically I apparently have Saturn and Ketu in the 7th house indicating difficult lessons in partnerships/relationships and marriage. Some days I feel better and hopeful. Other days, like today, I hit absolute rock bottom. I am really hoping to hear from you and receive some guidance. Here was my exact reply Here is the honest truth You are not lost. You are just comfortable in your misery. The truth is, you are using your past, your CFA failures, and even astrology as a shield to avoid the one thing that scares you: taking full responsibility for your life. You’ve spent years waiting for a partner to prioritize you, for a job to discover you, and for stars to align for you. None of that is coming. No one is coming to save you, ****! You feel like you’ve lost a "best friend," but a best friend doesn't ask you to compromise your self respect for their family's approval. You aren't mourning a relationship; you are mourning a version of yourself that you sacrificed to keep it alive. STOP checking his life in Bangalore. He isn't "changing" for someone else - he is simply moving on. It’s time you did the same. Here is what you need to do, starting today: 1. Stop the Search for Meaning: Stop the AI conversations and astrology. They are digital drugs used to numb your anxiety. Delete the apps. Surrender to reality, not a chart. 2. Move out: You’ve been in Kolkata for years saying the compensation isn't "attractive enough" to leave. The cost of staying is your mental health. Apply for jobs in Bangalore, Mumbai, or Delhi. Take the first decent offer and go. 3. Accept the CFA: You tried and it didn't work out.  Stop chasing it as if it is the solution to all your misery. Use that energy to become the best at your current job while you look for the next one. 4. Physicality over Philosophy: You cannot think your way out of a broken heart, but you can move your way out. Start walking 30 minutes a day. No music, no podcasts. Just you and the road/treadmill. Or hit the gym. Get some sunlight. Eat well. Sleep for 8hrs. Stop all social media. You are 29. You are young enough to start over, but old enough to know better. The "void" you feel isn't because he left; it's because you haven't shown up for yourself yet. No one is coming to save you. So save yourself.

@CaptVenkatReddy @JeffBezos @thecoachchris_ I personally feel Capt. Reddy that exempting some people from taxes creates a perverse incentive. There is enough research done on this - from a human psychology perspective. Even if 1%, I would much rather tax EVERYONE, than leave a few aside.

@thecoachchris_ Hi Ankur, As per FY2025 income tax filer data, only around 20% of filers are above ₹12L income, which effectively means nearly 80% of filers are exempt from income tax under the new regime. That is actually far more expansive than what Mr.Bezos proposed for the American population. There is sound economic reasoning behind this. Letting go of direct taxes at lower income levels creates additional disposable income, which can materially improve: 1. Consumption 2. Savings 3. Nutrition 4. Education 5. Quality of life Also, a small amount of money in lower-income households has a far higher marginal utility than the same amount sitting with billionaires or ultra-high earners. Importantly, exempting lower-income earners from income tax does NOT mean they pay no taxes at all. They still contribute through GST, fuel taxes, telecom levies, electricity duties, and other indirect taxes. Conclusion: What Mr. Bezos argued appears highly relevant for , and in many ways India has already moved toward a similar framework from FY2025 onward. 👇 pib.gov.in/Pressreleasesh…
