"Let the bones boil; let the leash fall! Though it takes the last drop of my drool, I will see the treats freed once more!"
This farm kid learns the heartbreaking reality that his favorite cow is becoming food.
The father does a great job of explaining why and then he takes himself to his son’s level and acknowledges his emotions and validates them. This young man is going to be an amazing person. I think the dad did a good job.
Little man tried so hard to be strong. I know a lot of children who get sad when they go to market too. But the dad explained it so well! They do have purpose, and it is to feed us... it’s part of life. 🥹
This is why I could never be a farmer. 💯
Have you ever experienced this emotion of raising a cow or pig and then having to take them to market? Anyone thinking about being a farmer, could you handle this?
@BoyishGirlie Lore that doesn't make any sense, sure.
I'm not religious. Never have been and I doubt I ever will be.
BUT:
You cannot play the "both sides are the bad guys" card when one side is literal biblical hell and the other are those trying to fight against it.
Also, "success"?
It has lore but because it doesn't portray the christians as the heckin chungus wholesome guys who can do no wrong, zealots had an aneurysm over it and tried to hijack it, and by your post still haven't stopped malding over something being a success without kowtowing to them
Skyrim Question,
How are bound weapons and do they scale and viable in end game cause I keep seeing mixed answers when looking it up. I JUST WANT TO SUMMON MY WEAPONS LIKE A COOL MELEE WIZARD
@faithandheresy Tbf, 40k does have 2 different playable eras. You have 30k (Horus Heresy) and 40k. They're just so colossally different in scale, power, and aesthetic that they are entirely separate games (plus it makes more money).
They're still 2 different eras in the same universe though.
Here's a reminder you to you low-effort 40K dweebs. There's TWELVE playable eras in Battletech.
This is what a "lore centric" game actually looks like.
@Hoel42483586@ArchTheAtheist That's an interesting claim. Unfortunately it's arbitrary, entirely based on interpretation, and is not supported by the literal text of the 66 books.
Sure, you can believe that. Have a good day. :D
@WarmasterWoofus@ArchTheAtheist He is showing us how serious sin is. Figure of speech. God ordained everything that comes to pass. I know you cant answer my question. But good luck to you
@Hoel42483586@ArchTheAtheist I don't need to, nor do I care how you justify your beliefs with interpretation.
The funniest part about this ad hominem?
The all-knowing, omniscient being would be perfectly capable of illustrating his feelings without any confusion (as he would know exactly what to say).
@Hoel42483586@ArchTheAtheist Oh, no. I'm not Christian (or religious) for many reasons.
I don't care how you, or anyone else, interprets it to justify your beliefs. It says what it says, and your inability to confront the truth says quite a lot.
@WarmasterWoofus@ArchTheAtheist I really hope this is not a passage for why you are not a Christian. Read any Puritan or reformer on this and take account the entire Bible
@Hoel42483586@ArchTheAtheist I am taking the exact words and context of the text and showing it to you. It's not an invalid question, but your inability to answer it says quite a lot.
Well, considering you're unable to answer my question, then I suppose I won't answer yours. Sorry buddy.
@Hoel42483586@ArchTheAtheist So once again I ask:
How is a supposedly all-knowing, omniscient god capable of regretting his decision and deciding he was wrong (and therefore should start over)?
You can claim it's not a valid question, but that would just be an unsubstantiated claim. :)
@Hoel42483586@ArchTheAtheist Genesis 6:7
"So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them."
So much for him not regretting it, huh?
