The reason why ISIS went so far in Syria is because Syria suffered from the perfect storm of coddled city dwellers with too much to lose, an immiserated countryside, and low military morale. This seems to indicate that it’s not just that migrants from Islamic countries outperform in sexual assaults. It’s Muslim migrants specifically from Horn of Africa, middle eastern, North Africa and south asian countries that are particularly problematic when it comes to sexual assault.
