Typically, Nova doesn't get creeped out by missions. Solo investigations aren't uncommon. Especially after her three teammates became now Terminid chow. So keeping her helmet on in a dusty deserted, godforsaken planet...

Like all Marines, Nova was being forced to learn every aspect of actual combat. A splinter group of Covenant that had set up shop. Sangheili intelligence provided the coordinates, provided a decent approximation of enemy defense. Now it was their turn.
