@jilltxt Yes, I think you are right that plagiarism checkers have met their match with these large language models. Maybe then put the students in dialog with the AI? For example, given the AI text on assembly and apparatus, ask the students to critique it (with references).

okay, so this will be my last term at chicago. i will soon join (!!) the department of Critical Race & Ethnic Studies at UC Santa Cruz, where i’m going to be able to do Black study alongside scholars whose intellectual and political commitments i have always admired.
