Junior year highlights: #28 WR/CB – 4.4 40-yard dash and 36-inch vertical (early season testing); multiple touchdowns and receptions on offense; consistent tackling/run support on defense; special teams contributor including kick returns, gunner, and field goal block rushes. @nolanrucci takes the field in the Shrine Bowl for his last college game. 66 years ago, my dad, Tom Gilburg, aka Coach Gibby, aka Knute, played in this same game, fresh off a National Championship at Syracuse in 1959. Same game. Different generation. Proud beyond words!

Warwick grad Hayden Rucci is now on the west coast. The NFL’s 49ers announced Wednesday that they have signed the 6-5 TE to their practice squad. San Francisco will play at Seattle this Sat. At 8 p.m. in the playoff’s divisional round. ⁦@WarwickWarriors⁩ ⁦@WarwickFB⁩
