The winners are Ricardo Rail! The first year they have entered the #IMechERailwayChallenge and they walked away the rightful winners! With a record breaking distance achieved in the Regen Braking Challenge, they have all the reasons to celebrate the night away! WELL DONE 👏🙌👍

WRC finished a very respectable 7th place overall; and a huge congratulations to Ricardo for a fantastic win!

Congratulations to Sheffield for winning the popular vote for the poster!

Well done to SNC Lavalin for the Innovation Challenge win and TFL for the Business Case!

And a close contest between the Warwick team and TFL in the Noise Challenge! By 0.2 dB, well done to TFL!

And well done to SNC Lavilin for a win in the Ride Comfort Challenge!

And the Reliability Challenge was won by three teams! Well done Ricado Rail, SMC Lavalin and FH Aachen!

The traction and noise challenges are complete and that’s a wrap for WRC, waiting for the rest of the teams to run and the results to be calculated!

Ride comfort challenge has been completed! Unfortunately the team could not compete in the energy storage challenge but heading over for the traction challenge now!

Last day of competition and the team are all ready to run!

With half the team home to rest and half camping in the field tonight we’ve got our fingers crossed our success today can be carried through to tomorrow’s challenges! Now for an evening briefing, bbq and quiz!
