Wasanii Sanaa delivered a powerful performance full of rhythm, heritage and passion at the Kibra Fest Nubian Edition.

We are priviledged to participate on the ongoing COP 2026, summit. The summit brings together different stakeholders from different countries aimed at addressing the opportunities for young people.

Organizations grow through teamwork and activities that build trust and respect among the colleagues. Our team building was one of the best.

Tribute to Amnesty Kenya member David “Fan” Opiyo As family, friends and comrades gather to grieve and honour the life of David Opiyo, allow me to convey both condolences and solidarity from the Amnesty family. As an artist with Wasanii Sanaa and a member of the Amnesty Kibra Circle of Conscience, David used art to act for the oppressed, challenge injustice, and help us imagine a better society. David’s legacy lives on in those he performed with, mentored and the audiences he awakened. On behalf of Amnesty International Kenya, we express our love, respect, and deep appreciation for his life. Let those of us who remain, carry forward the vision he lived for—a Kenya more just, humane, and free. *Rest in power, “Fan”. The light you lit continues through all of us.*

We are grateful to the people and government of the United States for the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI). The program has, over the years, mentored our young people to be impactful leaders in governance, innovation, business and other spheres of life.
